HOMEMADE HOT CHOCOLATE
Here is a simple a recipe for when you are craving a classic cup of hot cocoa. You can adjust this recipe to suit your taste. If you prefer a darker, richer brew, use more cacao powder. This luxurious hot chocolate is perfect with regular or alternative milk such as almond, soy or macadamia. Made from Nomad's vegan, gluten-free hot chocolate powder this drinking chocolate is suitable for all diets.
You will need:
- Two teaspoons of Nomad's West Africa 45% Dark Hot Chocolate
- 180ml hot milk (avoid boiling)
- Garnish; grated chocolate, cacao powder or cinnamon
- Teaspoon / small whisk
- Milk pan / pot
- Mug / heat proof glass
Method:
- Add 2 teaspoons of Nomad's West Africa 45% Dark Hot Chocolate into the cup
- Heat milk of your choice to about 65C (avoid boiling)
- Add a bit of the hot milk to the cup
- Stir until chocolate powder is well combined with milk
- Add rest of the hot milk
- Garnish with grated chocolate, cacao powder or cinnamon
- Enjoy!
